Fade To Black

You wished my heart gone
Break can't be undone
What is left to love?
Sorrow veiled the sun

I'm the nasty salt
How you unleashed spite
You channeled venom
Sting beheld lost night

Cunning voices pry
Still, you strike to vent
What is left to love?
End was last torment

You have others inquire and they search my mind
What thoughts await their chatter ... what is left to find?

Your curiosity floats like cold, lightless hands
Wintry reach means nothing, from where it let hurt stand

And I don't know why you wonder about my life
When your steps took leave and you gave me unto the dark

It's a pity how someone can look so pretty
As they walk away
And that portrait stays
No colors return
Brightness can't come back
Fade to black
I fade
Fade to black

Music Box

Time is haunting and soft
Past is misty memory
I think what lingers loft
Carries very heart of me

I only wanted love
I hoped my wait was enough
Maybe I asked too much
And the music box echoes down the lane
Slowly playing with the rain
(wash away the pain, wash away the pain)

Days just don't feel quite right
Afternoons keep weary stream
Dusk taps to empty night
I can't find awake or dream

I only wanted love
I hoped my wait was enough
Maybe I asked too much
And the music box echoes down the lane
Slowly playing with the rain
(wash away the pain, wash away the pain)

I think what lingers loft
Carries very heart of me
And the music box echoes down the lane
Slowly playing with the rain

One Hell Of A Ride

Friday night, hungry wolves descend fire-eyed
Dust spins and Hellbent motors growl to gather wide
Lights pierce the sky, crossing as jagged swords
Fierce steel rumbles and humble souls turn rising lords

Boys settle back, girls clad in black hold tight
Heaven's warm inside what's only yours, every night
Wheels of thunder burn rubber to the door
The week is past, it don't mean nothing anymore

Give me the night-tide, give me untamed stride
Give me my baby, by my side
Feast, song and friends
Give me good times before I'm done
And in the end, we'll say ... "wild was run"
No regrets and no memories denied
One Hell of a ride, One Hell of a ride

Beer will feel wicked, Southern Comfort kick
Youngbloods are we, tasting this life ... sweet, cool and quick
New ink, leather and faded jeans wield strong
You can look but better keep it where it belongs

It ain't a party 'til a fight breaks free
But pact of Brotherhood don't go down easily
Bond meets fist to fist, good times live for more
Drums pound as strings bend and guitar riffs scream with soar

Give me the night-tide, give me untamed stride
Give me my baby, by my side
Feast, song and friends
Give me good times before I'm done
And in the end, we'll say ... "wild was run"
No regrets and no memories denied
One Hell of a ride, One Hell of a ride

Valentine

Ever mine, ever gothic romantic
Graced paper lace and Winter violin
Frosted hearts wake frantic
(I keep you)
When the parlor light is slightest hue
I am elusive touch that sweeps your skin

Desire closed cold as frozen flowers
Ice kissed, wondering if love's saint forgot
Now home unfolds the hours
(I keep you)
When candles spindrift embrace anew
I am lyrical chill ... "forget me not"

Feel me, feel my eyes watching over you
Here and near, darling, ever connected
And you cannot hide, you are affected
I know you know (quivering, shivering)
There's no letting go, there's no letting go
Footsteps lead wait as whisper lifts dreaming
Soul screaming infinite, devoted pine
Ever mine, Eventide, Valentine

You are mine
Ever mine, Eventide, Valentine

Goodbye

Another midnight scream, sleepless mind, angry tears
Fevered thoughts spill out cold sweats, peace seems so unclear
Gee, I wonder why?
All I have left rattles sigh ... goodbye, my goodbye

Another singe filled dawn, bloodshot eyes, stony glare
Staring into space, disgust waits for numb ensnare
Gee, I wonder why?
All that remains stings like a razor plunging sly

Again, sniveling rumors taint the air with lie
My sanity is questioned, be it far and shy
Gee, I wonder why?
My mad grin knows a laugh, though tiring the wry

You won't miss me, shoot your mouth off about yourself
Lord knows the ammunition towers up sky high
Pain isn't worth more reply ... goodbye, my goodbye

Dark Angel

Loving you is time ... to die for
Loving you is time ... I want more
Holding you is easy to rush
Holding you is hot candy-crush

Maybe people don't talk this way
But they're thinking things they won't say
(not me ... Angel Baby)
The world outside the window is untrue
I want to turn everything off ... but you

Sanctuary is in your eyes
The sanctuary day denies
Nightfall is you and private bliss
Nightfall brings my dark angel's kiss

Some people may not feel to say
But then, they're just dead anyway
(not me ... Angel Baby)
The world outside the window is askew
I want to turn everything off ... but you

Take me deep as the moonlight springs
Love, wrap me in your warm, black wings
The hours are endless before bright
Take me deep as the endless night

Tattoo

These wolf eyes that gaze through you
Ink my instinct to inspire
Loyalty, intensity
Rise mid backgrounds of fire

Thorns combust a Hunter's Moon
There, the dark petals have died
My Gothic courtyard taunts you
Where ravens haunt dreams inside

It's not what I wear and more than you see
A riddle wrapped up in an enigma
In the flesh, with edge ... pitch as immortality
Etched, indelible are the lines and curves
A mystery within a puzzlement
Hence, exactly what such dilemma serves
Wicked and angelic embodiment
It's not all that I am but how I choose to be
Beautifully cruel, real as fantasy

My beating heart splits to bleed
There's a teardrop between blades
Betrayal is ugly word
It's printed neath ace of spades

No grim reaper casts shadow
And to his scythe, I digress
My ankh thrusts a lightning bolt
Above the ice queen of chess

It's not what I wear and more than you see
A riddle wrapped up in an enigma
In the flesh, with edge ... pitch as immortality
Etched, indelible are the lines and curves
A mystery within a puzzlement
Hence, exactly what such dilemma serves
Wicked and angelic embodiment
It's not all that I am but how I choose to be
Beautifully cruel, real as fantasy

The Reckoning

When we're apart
Some dreaming intoxicates
I imagine just how sweet you taste
Love, I am consumed (you captivate)

What's yet to be
Hangs so heavy and unsung
Time stills and slumbers unknown, among
Lost touch and starry madness (for one)

Love, my eyes have long looked into
Love, I am soul-enraptured through
Thoughts in my mind are deafening
My wild heart pleads ... beckoning
Reckoning is true
There is only you
It's always been you

When you're near (dear)
Some dreaming unfolds pure heat
First kiss, warm taste, such hypnotic beat
Just neath the surface, running deep (sweet)

What's yet to be
Hangs so heavy and unsung
Time stills and slumbers unknown, among
Lost touch and starry madness (for one)
(and you're the one)

Love, my eyes have long looked into
Love, I am soul-enraptured through
Thoughts in my mind are deafening
My wild heart pleads ... beckoning
Reckoning is true
There is only you
It's always been you

(You're the one)
(It's always been you)
