Warm night, half-moon, lost sleep, cup of tea
Veil of starlight and I'm less lonely
Because the world is full of strangers
And I can't see his face when I dream
But I feel him, the breeze goes through me
I've watched others find something that's true
Some wish it away, some make it through
I would hold on with all that I have
What will be left, will I be enough?
Would numb hope be brave to start anew?
(Or will it never be?)
I'll throw a wish up, to the night sky
- The first star ... and a veil of starlight
A veil of starlight
Veil of starlight
