Welcome to my little, dark corner of the web.
Enjoy your stay and thank you for visiting.
I've been writing for a long time and had a website years ago
But have now decided to create a blog.

Only the more recent entries show (below)

Veil of Starlight

Warm night, half-moon, lost sleep, cup of tea
Veil of starlight and I'm less lonely
Because the world is full of strangers
And I can't see his face when I dream
But I feel him, the breeze goes through me

I've watched others find something that's true
Some wish it away, some make it through
I would hold on with all that I have
What will be left, will I be enough?
Would numb hope be brave to start anew?

(Or will it never be?)

I'll throw a wish up, to the night sky
- The first star ... and a veil of starlight
A veil of starlight
Veil of starlight

Recipe For Hope

The ingredients to aspire are tricky
Positiveness, though the better consideration
- should be only a dash,
While caution should be in heaps
Measurement is everything

Lemongrass

You think that your hopes are all in
But if you could gaze past the looking-glass
You'd see that new wish could begin
Fresh as lavender fields and lemongrass

You've been drowning in confusion
You've gone so far off track
Sadness is just an illusion
That'll turn your eyes to black

The snow that shimmers in moonlight
Reflects with gilded glimmer for your day
What's been chasing you is leaf blight
But the Winterly shall phase out from stay

You've been drowning in confusion
You've gone so far off track
Sadness is just an illusion
That'll turn your eyes to black

Let me be the night, that takes your darkness and rush
You be the sun bright, that wakes acquiesce and hush
Beyond what's in front of you, looking-glass
As lavender fields and lemongrass
As lavender fields and lemongrass
