Violet

Lilac and lavender
Purple, pale scarlet with blue
Watercolor windows
Black nails, clove pink lace stockings
Every season's good

And storm clouds make her smile
Hot chocolate cup, double cream
The mirror needs design
Paintbrush, slash a self-portrait
Whose details are withdrawn

Doll face makeup, black star eyes
Smudge, how she sees herself

By and by, emo, shy
When the looking-glass is dry
Veracious take, vignette
Violet, in violet
Sobriquet, silhouette
