Hard Candy Kiss

A heart may choose settle
A heart may choose habit and cling
Pretending by and by
Defending choices that wing
Those dreams flew far away
Can't go back, trying to move on
They just wake up one day
Sedation's sugared gild has gone

All the world's mad
Love in such a rave is wish
On and gone, on and gone
Hard candy kiss

A heart breaks for a minx
A heart breaks for a playboy's ploy
Befitting as consumed
Unwitting mark and vampire's toy
Those cherries on top soured
Can't find will, trying to find might
They just wake deflowered
Disenchantment is bloody bite

The smitten, crazy vibes
Revolving the confection
Looking for affection
All the world's mad
Love in such a rave is wish
On and gone, on and gone
Hard candy kiss

    I real poet put those words together and such a string of letters is few and far between.
